ALL THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS ARE CONVEYED BY THE SAXOPHONE OF GULZAROV

The name of Yunus Gulzarov is well known; a talented musician has won the preferences of many listeners. His performing career began in the late 1960's. It was a period when a number of musicians expressed interest to the saxophone, to the problems that the performers and educators faced, during the development of this instrument.
Over 30 years have passed since then. Today, Yunus Gulzarov, called "the golden saxophone of Uzbekistan", is the winner of the XII World Youth and Student Festival in Moscow, as well as of many competitions and shows. At the Jazz festival in Tashkent in 1986, the performer was called the best saxophonist. At the present time, he is Lieutenant Colonel, Chief of Military Song and Dance
Ensemble of the Tashkent Higher Military School of the border. But, above all, he is concertizing musician. He performed for the audience in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh, Fergana, Bukhara, Navoi, Termez, including solo concerts for different listeners, children, military men, students. The musician is a welcome guest of TV and radio shows.
His performance leaves no one indifferent, because there is no empty space in it; every note, every phrase is full of life, melodies sound like stories with changing emotions and musical ideas.

His artistic talent is found consonant with the instrument, the saxophone in his hands becomes responsive to the finest performing intentions. Meanwhile, the musician skillfully masters all varieties of saxophones family, soprano, alto, tenor, baritone, which always grabs the interest of the public.
Recently, the musician celebrated his 50th anniversary. All these years, he is stubborn to a good fanaticism in his occupation. Yunus Gulzarov is full of energy, creativity, the living and constant interest in everything that happens in our musical life. The tremendous energy and enthusiasm of a talented performer contributes to the development of playing brass of Uzbekistan.
